They are trash. Go with a mini bike, you'll live longer.

powerband is terrible...0-60 mph in under 3 seconds...1/4 mile in less than 10 seconds....slow as hell....no *****....buy a krapasaki ZX-14 instead....or better yet, a HARLEY DAVIDSON....wow what a waste of time.

I know you guys are tired of hearing squidish questions like that....

but seriously, lets not throw the kid through a loop for something he doesn't know any better about.

We've all got to start somewhere.... and most people can't really fathom how fierce the acceleration of even the smaller bikes is until they ride them.

I rode one and could not get it to power wheelie in 5th. So I bought a windjammer instead.

My 03 GSXR 1000 has more power than the 05 1000RR.

I don't care if the magazines say it's the other way around. I don't put much faith in them. It's very obvious which has more power when you get off one bike and directly onto the other. Yes, I have done it.

Not like you use you're mom's you won't.

Tell me...do you need a dyno to tell that a Chevette has less power than a Corvette? Point made...

The 1000RR is a ******* slug compared to the GSXR1000.

The Hondas look nice, but they don't have the kick that the Suzuki's have.

The same friend that has the 05 1000rr had a 03 600rr back when I had an 00 R6. The R6 beat the hell out of his rr in a straight line. Of course curves depend more on rider skill than on pure power.

Slug eghh, thats why my stock 04 1000RR beat a 03 GSX-R1000 on the highway?

And before I get flamed...its the rider..yada yada stfu whatever blah.

As for a street bike, I enjoyed my 1000RR over my RC51. Almost as fun as my superhawk. But then again, I had more fun with that cuz it was payed off!

Big deal, even in a drag race rider skill comes into play.

And of course there is more to speed than the "kick" in the power delivery. It might surprise you to know that those who race motorcycles try to tune the kick out so they can get the power to the ground better.

That said the K5 GSX-R1000 is faster than the CBR1000RR but that isn't the only factor in whether someone should buy either.

Truth hurts, huh? My comparison is ME on the RR and ME on the GSXR....no rider differences to compare or argue.

I rode an 05RR and got my *** whipped by a ZX10 too...And I don't mean by a bike length. By the time we hit about 170, he had about 6 bikes on me.

If you're used to a Honda, it will seem fast.

You kids will hopefully grow up one day and realize that you don't know half what you thought you did when you were a kid.

Those bikes all suck, buy a turbo Hayabusa if this is your first bike.
