Default jdm h22 or b18c1

well i was wondering what you guys think i should go with in my 94 hatch. a jdm h22a or jdm b18c. i am just sutck on which one to go and the budget wont matter cus i already figured it out that both motors will cost me 2900. the h22 is that much with mounts and everything needed and that the price for the b18 that i found. they both also have the same amount of miles on it. i am kinda leaning toward the h22 but dont want to deal with more work and attention to detail when putting it in. soo anyways what should i go with?

I think you should go with a H18AC3 because we all know there super secret motors that come supercharged, turbocharged and have wet shots already hooked up.

gsr is so much easier and have way more swap options. I put a H22 in a civic last winter and did not have much fun, but a very fast car with stock motor.

H22 have good tourqe ya but i'd go with a gs-r my friends has a GS-r in his coupe with clutch flywheel intake and this kid from our town has an h22 in a hatch with same **** but headers to they will be dead even tell about thierd in the GS-R will start pulling 2.2 wont rap out as high or as fast as a 1.8 GS-R
GO GS-R ALL THE WAY YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Thats funny because with similar bolt ons, I stomp GSR's, even on top end.

H22A > B18C1

If you get the H22A running right it should net 180whp or so - no bolt-ons GS-R will touch that.

It takes a B18C5/B18C Type R to match up with an H22A.

go for the H22...I have a buddy with a stock H22 in a hatch with basic bolt-ons, and it is VERY quick.

H22 for life. I know its not the same, but I have an H22 hatch in the 12s, and my buddy has a turbo B18 integra in the 12s. Our cars might be the same speed (almost exactly) but if you were to drive both around you'd guess that mine could eat his alive due to the torque you have all the time. From a roll we can both fry the tires in first, but mine just snap loose and his tend to work their way to smoke.

H22 even at the same power. H22
