Noise coming from tranny???
input shaft bearing. its inside the actual transmision. not in the bell housing. u have to take the tranny off seperately from thebell housing and its the bearing against the tranny where your input shaft comes through. NOT YOUR Throwout Bearing!!. i have the same problem.

You probably forgot to install the Pilot bearing. the bearing that goes into your block. its located at the end of the input shaft. you mah have forgotten to put that in and put more load on your input shaft. happened to me a year ago.
