What coilover kit do you recommend for my 98' gs-r. Need to drop my car soon.

skunk2 or groundcontrol seem to be the popular kit. or if you want a REAL coilover kit go with TEIN or H&R and i think Neuspeed has a nice one too.

NEVER use "fake" coilovers like Skunk2's or Ground Control. The sleeves on these are known to split open at the bottom and cause A LOT of damage to the suspension itself especially if the car is lowered more then 3 inches.

We recommend either a standard lowering spring AND high performance shock combo or true coilovers like the Tanabe, Tein, or H&R.

What do real "coilovers" cost? I was going to get GC coilovers for my 1.5 in. drop, this is the first bad stuff I've heard about them...

Real coilovers cost around $800.00 and up. It's a high price to pay, but worth every last penny.

TEIN TypeHA coilovers.... Up until now, I still think that the TEINs are the best mod I've ever done to both of my cars.
