d16y8 motor crank timing marks not colored right?
can someone verify the timing marks and their colors on the crank pulley for a d16y8 motor?

On my car they are all white. I think they added the color just to show the three different positions.

you can clearly see they are using the furthest-most mark on the crank pulley... not the middle of the three to make TDC....

What are you doing? Installing a timing belt or adjusting the ignition timing? If you are installing the belt then you need the crank at TDC (the white mark off by itself). If you are adjusting ignition timing then you are using a light and shooting for the center of the three red marks. Hope this helps.
