i have these seats in my DC integra right now,and holes line up. i got them secure in the car but they sit high. i want to put them in my EK coupe. (((the ep3 seats still have ep3 rails))) is there anyway i can get them to sit lower? or do you think they will sit lower when in the Ek chasis? will ek rails fit on the ep3 seat base? any suggestions would be a big help!

Well, i've seen a few EK's with EP3 seats in them, so I'm guessing they will fit. Here are some pictures:

no they dont bolt rite up 2 EK's..... u need 2 make custom rails for them.... i had em on my EK a while ago..... and yea they sit kinda high....but yea custom rails r needed they wont bolt up...

 

what the hell's wrong with that hood? its mis-aligned in the back near the hindges...

It's the new JDM stunna look, y0. They do it to copy the JDM tuners that raise the rear of the hood to open up the cowl area and allow hot air to flow out of the engine bay.

 

The ep3 seats will sit high in a DC/EG/EK no matter what unless you make some sort of custom rails.

The EP3 seats are made by Recaro, right?

If so, Vision makes low position rails/sliders for EK's that are designed specifically for Recaro seats. I've seen them on jhpusa.com

They're about $180 bucks, I think

Our seats sit somewhat high, but not that damn bad. I think they're awesome *** stock seats, but eh, I need some racing shells to shed some weight off our bulky chassis.

You can bolt your DC seat pans and rails to the EP3 seats with little modification

To make them sit right, you have to put DC/EG seat pans and rails on them. They will sit nice after that

who do u know that has done this???
this has been a rumor on h-t for a while with NO proof
just because s2k seats can do this, it doesn't mean ep3 seats can

 

They will not be a direct bolt-in into your EK, but with modified rails it they will go in no prob...but the thing is, from what I've heard and seen, the EP3 seats tend to sit too high in the EK's

interesting, i'm actually starting to see alot of other civic's doing this also, was starting to wonder why myself.

also nice thread i know alot of people were wondering if ep3 seats would fit in an ek, or eg.

 

i used to have a set. i couldnt get them to fit into my EK that well and the bracket thing didnt go very well during fabrication so i sold them to steve mardell. he got them in his EK fine, they do sit high though.
