Default password jdm intake in 4th gen

i heard that some body was able to fit a passwordjdm intake in a fourth gen. i tried searching but couldnt find anything. if any one has info, or better yet, pics with info pls post. im thinking about getting an air intake but alot of them are expensive, the password jdm is priced decent compared to them plus its CF. anyhoo, thx in advance

what kind of pictures to you need? we sell this intake and i personally dont think it will fit in a prelude.. but depends on what you want to do. relocated battery , etc, etc. i guess you can get anything to fit..

Mgags7 has a replica J's racing intake (same thing as password but its plastic and not CF). He still has his battery in the engine bay, I think he only had to move the AC lines and turn the battery 90 degrees to make it work.

..not sure if he has pictures though.

search isn't working for me right now, but I could have sworn that there is a thread about this. I thought that they were going to make it for the 4th gen and they were taking orders.

It sucks nicely though. Very good throttle response. (I've ridden in the above pictured car) I think it's a pretty good investment as far as an intake goes.

i dont know, i dont have a 5th gen to test..

my offer will stand for 1 fith gen aswell.

buy one from us, ill give you a week to install it. if you cant find a way to get it to fit. none of that, well i had to move a line or two stuff. but really attempted it to fit, ill take it back. Long as you dont paint, mark or cut it!

i had to bend the tiny ac line that runs near the battery so i could rotate it 90 degrees.....my coolant over overflow is ziptied up, and the intake also hits the two main ac lines where they pass over the tranny, they had to be bent a bit....then i also had to move the clips for the main engine harness...

i cant say that it was easy but it worked....

How about you send it out, I'll try and make it work. If I can, then I'll pay

btw, how much does one go for?

not sure but that looks like the j's racing that was made for integra with abs. password doesnt have a mold for the abs unit only non abs unit. that might be the reason:
j's one is from a 94-01 integra with abs as we can tell

It's made for throttle response. It does good in that aspect. The rest, is up for speculation because there are contradicting graphs on its actual hp results over other intakes.

If we can get a definitive on what intake will most likely fit, I'll be a guinea pig.

<-- 5th gen base.

I have a SRI now, could we maybe get some rough measurements on OD size?
