Been having some problems back and forth with the setup and after a couple months changed a few things and got the car running back to how it should be.
Long story short, the VE of the motor was pathetic, peak hp was 7500rpm, TQ was crap, I mean no topend whatsoever. We tried to assess with Larry @ Endyn's help to see where the problem could be, Larry tried some new things on the head with different cams, header, manifold, etc.
After switching a whole bunch of parts, it looks that the problem was with the DSM injectors or the Distributor pickup.
Finally on street tuning that weekend, the thing is still making power at 9800RPM ... so gonna swap back in one part at a time to see where she leaves off on the dyno.
will keep everyone posted.

its the street motor, 84.5mm bore ...
Alex, hoping to do some dynoing this weekend, either way will be running it at the track this Saturday vs. domestics ... full street trim cars only.
I'll try to take some screen shots of the VE graph before vs now... there is a remarkable difference.

lol, no ... temporarily running saturated TWM injectors (I think 390cc) with regulator @65psi and duty cycle at 87%
some new injectors are on the way.

was just reminded to update this thread with a dynograph ... we're still experimenting and testing, but this was the best we've gotten in this motor buildup.

and the latest update !!!
this motor took a WALLY home in the Street Stock class this pact weekend at NHRA Fall Nationals 2005, Englishtown New Jersey !!!
best et is 12.62 @110 MPH - car weight was 2369 lbs, BFG Drag radials, complete interior and complete exhaust.
The car was driven home after the event since a friends car broke and had to use trailer for that.
hail to the FROG

isnt that kinda heavy for an EG? my full interior teg weighs only 30 lbs more than that. anyway i have a feeling some much faster times will be attainable with that motor though.
oh yeah ive heard those DSM injectors to be less than reliable as far as how much they can actually flow to so i can totally see them causing problems

it was the NHRA street stock class, required 2350 lbs min weight, and full street trim including tires. I think I can get it down to low 2200's with me in it.
Louis didnt you tell me Tbone didnt come ? apparently he was there ...
