The shifter I have in my R is painted silver color. It's a little notchy going into 1st sometimes so I wanted to know is the stock shifter painted silver also? I thought I remembered seeing pics of it and it looked polished. If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

What does it matter? ALL integras have the same shift lever.

That's odd.

All 94+ Integras use the same part number, and it's painted black when you order a new one.

 

Mine is polished (01 ITR) and Jason's is black (98 ITR). They both look exactly the same.

 

Yeah, apparently the 00+ ITR(only ones i've seen) are not painted.

 

mine's black... i took off the shift boot, and put on a dc sports gunmetal grey shift ****. it's HOT!

 

your talking about the shifter not the **** right??? because the **** is not polished but the shifter is

 

The one that I have in there is from the previous owner. He installed a cheap aftermarket and I want to replace it. But, I wanted to verify that it wasn't an OEM shifter first. Feels a little notchy going into first sometimes.

Nah, it doesn't look like he painted the original one, but instead installed an aftermarket one. A cheap one. But that's okay, swapping out a shifter is easy.

 

Willard.......is that shift boot with the red stitching stock????....mine came from the dealer all black.

 

The shift boot with the red stitching is the JDM Spec boot... you can get one of those for around $30 or so...
