autoxers: how much travel do you have in your suspension? What are you using for shocks/ springs?
My hatch is 4.5" from the jacking points front and rear.
I'm currently using apexi n1 dampers (99 spec), with 11k F/ 16k R, and still don't get enough rotation out of them. I haven't touched the swaybars yet - as I want to figure out spring rates before messing with other suspension components.
Now, on paper this setup should be neutral to oversteer prone. It is NOT. It is more understeer than anything.
I also have a b-series swap, and itr 5-lug all around.
Now I have been thinking that perhaps I don't have enough suspension travel, and perhaps I am bottoming out in the front - thus creating this understeer condition?
It *is* possible....
So is there any downside to using dc2R suspension on an EF?
I seem to remember reading somewhere that 88 crx si's had the same shock part #'s in koni's catalog as the itr..... So I assumed that there wouldn't be any issue with using integra components.
