If you can't find a good dealer for Cusco you should check out AutoPower, I just got a 4pt for my car and its beatiful (I bought it used though, so I don't have a link for ya) They also offer the front half of the cage as an option.

I have the 6pt auto-power cage. It's VERY heavy.. The cusco cage is probably made of lighter chromoloy.

the Cusco cage is crap... its not a cage... its just metal that will end up hurting you in an accident. they are strickly ricer monkey bars.

Kirk Racing and Autopower are the only ones worth owning other than a full custom cage. I'm a tech inspector for Nasa-MA btw. and for the street i'd only run a roll bar ... you dont need your head near more metal while in a car... there is a reason you wear a helmet when you race you know.

I've got a 4pt Autopower bolt-in in my '90 rex. If you're interested, I'll take some pics at the CT meet tomorrow of it and post 'em afterwards.

It's a happy medium for those who still drive their cars on the street.

Well, I don't want to post pics of my "inadequate" 4 point now.

They'll be on this thread by the end of the weekend, scout's honor.

Default 4-Pt Pics

Alrighty, here is a sampling of the rollbar. Nice thing was that tightened up the suspension as well.

As you can see, I had to split the door panels in half; the rollbar hit the bottom of the panel at the very end of the door. Reinstalling the door panels keeps the airflow still going to the windows; otherwise, the windows would stay fogged up in rainy weather. It's also basically impossible to see from about 6o'clock to 9o'clock. I put one of those blind spot mirrors in the corner of my side mirror and it works fine. But it is a little scary to rely on my mirrors exclusively in north Jersey traffic.

I also have the autopower bar. Take it from me and do all this. Order it. Don't be home when they ship it, because its COD. That will save you $100. Once you get ti, he is right, it hits the bottom of the door.(if you have a 90-91) Call and complain and i got a $150 refund. The get a pipe, same size as the roll bar, and a heat gun. Shut your door and find out where the roll bar is gonna hit, and make the marks. Then heat up the door panel,(with out melting it or burning it) and press the pipe on it. Makes everything look 1000x better then having to take the bottom part off.

You could also trade and get some 88-89 door panels, (unless you have them) and the door panels will not have to modded.

Hope this helps

Great suggestion. Of course, that requires way too much patience for me - was much more fun to drill the panels apart.

Tommy, do you have a picture of how the stock 3-pt belt attaches on the tunnel side of the seat? I've been looking for a good view of the stock belts in a CRX with Autopower bar and fixed back seats.
