? about removing power steering.
right now the entire motor is out of the vehicle for the next couple of days. right now would be the best time to do this, i want to remove my power steering. i know you need to tap off some of the lines from the rack/pinion but where could i get the parts to do this? any ideas on where to look, or if someone could direct me on what needs to be done. that would be much help / greatly appreciated. thanx in advance.

Re: ? about removing power steering. (rebuiltgsrb18c1)
even if you correctly remove the lines, it still is not going to be strong enough to support non power steering. you need to get a rack out of an eg that did not have ps, that is if u have a dc teg. if u have a da teg u need to get a rack out of an ef civic. these power steering racks were made for power steering, so overtime they will break.
