I'm a bit confused. From your first post you say that the Tein Flex are great quality. Then you post and say you want something better quality? What did the tein flex do or lack that made you think they're not great quality? If this is just for your daily driver, save your money and keep the suspension.

So what do you want in the "ride"? Do you want the car to hop? Do you want the car to make you "feel" like you are riding on rails? Afterall, if you feel like it is handling on rails, you aren't driving fast enough.
Another vote for JRZ 3 ways with external reservoirs. They'll make anything over an a-cup hate you.

TEIN Type RA has been designed for advanced circuit racing and street use for experienced drivers. It incorporates a newly designed mono-tube structure, which allows for maximum road handling and driving stability for all type of situations. This product has been developed from a huge background of TEIN motor sports activities (such as the World Rally Championship, N1 and endurance racing).
* Mono-tube design for maximum performance. * Constructed of A7050 aluminum for lightweight (on certain applications). * Strut type suspension has an inverted steel shock absorber for durability. * 16 levels of damping force adjustment (compression and rebound together). * Ride height adjustable. * Exclusive designed pillow ball upper mount for optimize performance. * Available for overhaul.
they have several options when it comes to different types of coil overs. street track etc. i love teins.. i have the flex's and im lookin into the RA's myself just thought id throw that out! my friends run Buddy clubs and i think those are horrible and JICs are excellent but your riding on bricks.
See, it really depends what he's looking for. Perhaps his car hasn't been properly aligned or corner balanced. If you don't pay up for someone to set it up correctly, then you'll never know how it is supposed to feel like.
The problem with a lot of these shocks is the amount of gas and the amount of fluid available in non-remote canisters. It does limit travel and limits the amount of gas that can flow. If you choose nitrogen or argon, and also how much you put in, that's another adjustment right there. So, figure it as a 3.5 way. But don't call it a four way. Four ways add high speed rebound.

I don't quite understand how the Tein Flex's cannot be corner balanced. This has to do with the spring adjustments, not the dampening. For the amount you are looking to spend, even if it is a few hundred bucks, I'd get it properly setup.
Budget minded, the Spoon and Mugen selections are nearly automatically out. I've heard a lot about the RA's myself from Tein, haven't heard from an s2k driver yet, but have from other friends and they seem to love them...../shrug
...and as far as corner balancing, from what I know about suspension from my RSX, Mr. Bagel is correct....the springs get adjusted not neccesarily the dampening force.

made some calls today...KW makes parts for a lot of German cars...Their quality is top notch, but they lack a lot of R&D that the JDM companies have...I have some threads up about them on s2ki, but after talking to Gruppe-s today, im really liking what the zeal b6 has to offer...they have the same functions of the KW for the same price...Zeal is reputable, and everyone talks highly of them...
