OEM Power windows and locks onto my EK (anyone know how)
I can get my hands on 2000 Si doors pretty cheap from a yard and I was wondering if I should or not. Some-one told me that the wiring is already exists in in my car and I would just have to plug in the door wiring harness and it is ready to go ... I understand that the wring harness in my car should be the same but I am not sure
I really dont want to cut and add wires to my car ... so can someone who has done this please let me know.

Come on ... i know someone out there has done this ... I've seen it on the black EK that was bought from Sheng but he wont reply to my emails
I had complete Si doors...I was going to do it to my civic, but I think it would have been too much work. For it too look and operate correctly, I guess the best thing to do is use the entire door. I didn't want to do this to my car seeing as the doors were all torn up, plus they were black. Doesn't match well with a silver car.
Also, I've heard that you can't use a 99-00 interior harness, you need a use one from a 96-98 with power windows. I guess less splicing to do.
The easiest thing to do, imo, is keep the door panels and have a set of aftermarket power windows installed. Tell them to retain your stock switches and you should be all set. They roll up quicker too.

hey im in the process of doing it, i got all ex doors and **** and doing power, you need a helms for the wiring and you need to make your own dash to door harnesses since the CX and DX models dont have it. You need to get an integrated control unit for the door locks. All the relays for the windows are built into the switches but you need a relay box or unit to control the lock unlock of the doors. I am also doing ex power mirrors and tweeters. Which i need to buy. Since you guys seem to have parts, ill hook u up with some good info if you help me find or sell me the parts im missing in my swap. I need the following and will pay good money:
EX POWER MIRROR SWITCY
EX drivers side POWER WINDOW switch (mine is cracked)
EX AT gauge cluster
EX tweeter garnishes, the holders for behind the power mirrors, with or without tweeters is fine.
I have hand drawn helm's diagrams for all the wiring you need, along with all the parts numbers. I will barter one piece of info for one piece I need. Or all informationf for all pieces. I have been searching and I am getting desperate. Thanks. EMAIL : WAIKWAN@QUIK.COM

Can the owner of this EK tell us how hard this procedure is
He has aftermarket windows so.....
this is what you will need besides the stuff in the doors:
side note: for ek's all the doors are the same so you could strip the stuff from the powered door and transfer it to yours.
power window relay (3-4 bux)
the floor wiring harness that corresponds to the powered doors, this connects the doors together and to the fusebox. (100-130 bux)
helms manual (70 bux)
and just wire it up to the fuse box. it will not plug and play. from the floor harness you will strip out the power window wiring and only use that. then just wire the wires to hot, ground, run some inline fuse, etc....
this is not an easy job so i had a good friend do it for me cause wiring is not a fun task.

Yep, I did the install. What I did was hook up aftermarket motors to the factory switches MUCH MUCH easier and about twice as fast also. They only cost about $85 for the set too.
BTW: I DO have the FLOOR HARNESS and the REGULATORS FOR SALE if anyone is interested. This does NOT include doorpanels or switches. $100 bucks shipped and it yours

i did it...i got the mirrors and power windows working now and i'm currently working on the power locks..i didnt use the floor harness because 96-98 harnesses ARE DIFFERENT than 99-00 harnesses. Ours (96-98) are much smaller than the 99-00. NOTE: if you own a 96-98 civic and you're looking to power up your ride...GET TEH FLOOR HARNESS FROM A 96-98 CIVIC EX..for 99-00 get 99-00 floor harness from 99-00 ex, si, dx*, lx. (*-only those with power options) any questions email me..koshivang@hotmai.com
I swapped 2000 Si doors on to my 97 DX.....
I just bolted on the doors and let the guy who installs all of our audio equipment wire them up. I didn't have to buy a harness or anything and he charged me 100 bucks.
