Help, I've been bleeding the brakes for 3 hours
The brakes weren't all that solid to begin with, kind of a spongy feel and low pedal. So, I decided to swap on my 4 pot calipers. I have been bleeding them using a suction pump for 3 hours now. Still no pedal pressure at all. Can't find any leaks, I wiped off the calipers and lines and they stay dry, no fluid coming out. Do I just need to keep at this or should I take it to a mechanic. I'm worried taking it to a mechanic as I'm worried he'll screw up my bleeder valves, which I already had to replace.
Thanks for any help suggestions. Any idea how much a mechanic would charge to bleed brakes? BTW, this is the fastbrakes 11.75 setup with the Willwood Superlite calipers.

I just replaced the master cylinder a year ago, and the fluid has been fresh since then. Maybe I need to bench bleed the M/C. Do you know where I can get the fittings to attach the lines?
Thanks
Thanks
There are bench bleed kits at any local auto store (~$8) comes with various plastic fittings and 2 hoses with a few clamps. Just leave the MC in the car, disconnect the lines and install the plastic fittings and route the hoses from the fittings up and into the resovoir. Make sure the fluid level in the res is higher than the hose openings. Then slowly (so you don't make a mess) and evenly pump the brakes 15-25 times while someone is watching for bubbles. Once clear of bubbles, connect lines back up and begin your individual line bleeding.
