Hawker G13EP is sufficient. 10.8 lbs. Random search turned it up here for $67. It has no terminals, you have to buy SAE battery terminals for it too.

I have had no problems with the normal Hawker (and other people use it too) for daily driving even in Chicago winters.

Hawker's automotive/racing line is called Odyssey.

PC535 is about equivalent to the G13EP. Rated at 12 lbs. $72.

I got mine from surplusev.com, but it doesn't look like they are really in the business of selling batterys anymore. They were these though (Google):

You're looking at the Hawker battery? I upgraded to something WAY smaller! Get with the times!

6 amp-hour motorcycle battery from Sears. Don't try this at home.

I replaced mine with a pair of AAA batteries that I was using in the remote control for my TV.

Oh yeah? Well I....errr..... jumpstarted my car with my Timex watch.

Hmmm, for some reason I'm tempted to figure out how much charge you could put into a car with a cell phone battery.... 1000 mAH at 3.6V, that's 0.25 AH at 14.4V (about the voltage you'd want to charge at). That'd give you enough charge on a small battery to pull 15 amps for a minute, or 60 amps for 15 seconds.

not too shabby....

(1600 mAH battery on ebay, for reference... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...sting ... for those prices, they're at LEAST "grey market")
