You should have alignment done first, then drive your car for a while see if the tires show a lot of wear. If yes, then buy camber kit, otherwise you dont need to. I have almost -2 on each wheel, and I had no camber kit. I ran like that for a while now, the tires show some wear but not a lot. Toe kills your tires, not camber. Camber wears too but not as much as toe.
i kinda agree with the above, toe is the faster killer.. but i installed the kit first ... i got perfect camber but i do have some clearance issues.. upper A arm does bottom out in fender well when i hit a serious bump. but i have gone thru numerous sets of tires in the past so i finally just decided to go with the kit.

Yeah the insides of my tires are getting eaten bad.

When you did your alignment, did you get the specs sheet before and after the alignment? When I did mine, I asked for it so I could compare, and made sure they correct mine within the factory spec. I know a lot of places they do half *** job on alignment. Try to correct the toe as close to 0 as possible.

get the kit then... the ball joint one i heard are pretty good too... i just didnt want to go the machine shop to have them pressed in.. but if you go with the first kind then make sure you make some room in your wheel well for the the upper a arm to move freely.

This is from my experience, I put ball joint camber kit in the front for '96 accord. It corrected all the camber but one of the wheel stick outside the fender more than the other. I still had a lot of toe out even after I got the alignment done. I don't know if it is just me or not. Just sharing my experience.
