Default Mini-Me Headbolts

SOHCZC bottom end, pnp/milled/cam'd Z6 head. What headbolts? I searched and came up empty. Most seem to imply that there is no need to buy new headbolts. And I can use the stock ones, but I'd like to make sure. Thanks in advance

you're supposed to check them for stretch (lay the threads across each other). My car only had 110k miles on them and this was the first time the head had been pulled so i'm not too worried about them being weak.

ARP head studs would be nice but i didn't see a reason. If you have the money, go for it. I'm on a budget though which is why i don't even have my p28 in yet.

milage has nothing to do w/ stretch. its how many times they have been tourqed. For the price of ARPs get them for peace of mind (especially if u are going turbo)

just for reference...
i swapped a d16b7 non-vtec head onto a d15b2 block
mainly for cheapness...not going for power here using dpfi manifold
just wanted to comment that the outside most rear head bolts from the d15b2 are too long and u have to use 2 of the d16b7 bolts to be able to tq them down. the 97 bolts are about 1.5 inches shorter than the 89 bolts.
this is a 97 dx head on a 89 block using a 89 headgasket and 97 timing belt
the 89 timing belt is also 4 teeth or so longer but i used the 97 belt and the tensioner had enough play to make it work
