I'm thinking he meant that part of the manifold cracked/broke ? Or the wastegate maybe just broke?
I have a friend claiming that their 2.9mm thickness manifolds don't crack quite as easily...esp if you brace them.
They seem to have copies of all types of manifolds now: Ramhorn, Pro-race (42mm ID), "twisted" ramhorn with 50mm ID --- all with 3" DP
OBX seems to have just the ramhorn with 3" DP; SSAuto is ripping on OBX, claiming that they (SSauto) are better... Yet from what I hear, that OBX manifold holds up (Just that one). OBX has the manifold and DP for $475 shipped I believe. SSauto sells their stuff for much cheaper...The OBX manifold LOOKS more like the full-race (just judging by pics)
Heh...well I don't own or deal with any of this stuff, but that's what I've heard so far. I've worked with a Full-Race manifold up-close so if I ever come across this stuff, I'll know what to compare against
for the FR standard
EDIT: As for the turbo kit; obviously that actual TURBO is sub-par. Every now and then someone will get a working one...don't do it of course. And the guy who had great comments about the kit was being sarcastic...
