I have a megan header for my car. The engine breathes a hell of a lot better. The only downfall to the quality is that the flange that hookes up to the cat isn't square and it's kinda angled. I think I need to replace the gasket since I think I'm having a leak from there. If you do a search, there's a review somewhere.

bang for you buck its better then DC sports.

like i told someone the other day....
megan raciong & ebay specials are better IMO then DC sports because...the quality is the similar & the power gains are similar, so why spend the extra $100+ for the DC name? personally i'd rather have a ebay special and the extra $100 in my pocket then that extra 1 or 2 hp that the DC might get.

i'm getting a ebay special for my H22...my OEM one is trashed & i need something to hold me over until i decide if i'm gonna boost it next summer.

Same exact problem here.

The header didn't fit exactly like I believe it should have. First of all its shorter than the stock exhaust. Secondly it doesn't line up square with the CAT. So you have to pull the existing stock exhaust forward to meet the downpipe and then it doesn't bolt up square. I think I need a new gasket there as well, I just reused the old one and have a bit of exhaust leak.

The reason I bought the header was a stock ex manifold was over $200 and the cheapest used was $160! The megan header is a quality piece, it just doesn't fit 100% on my 98 EX. Overall the sound is good and performance may have increased a bit at higher RPM but not much if any. Maybe its just the noise makes it seem faster.

i have one on my d16y8..it works fine and yes it doesn't fit 100%..none of the headers i've seen fit 100%..my friends lude has DC and it doesn't even fit 100%..he had to get it welded...personally i think they are better then DC, its like buying name brand clothes..like Express and Marshall Fields...anyway they are GOOD!

to Flood, i have one on my Y8 and yes they dont fit but you have to get it welded together, and it sucks because you gotta keep them on forever but just get a straight cat converter and get it welded...it sound GREAT!..i have a "rare" revolution R exhaust to go with it and its hella deep...you'll love my setup!! and the leak is causing you power loss!

I just installed mine last night on my gsr...only problem i had was that the bracket welded onto the bottom was welded in wrong, so it took a while to get the 2 bolts in their holes. Also, because I'm a picky guy, I noticed that the on 2 of the runners, where it meets the flange that mounts to the motor, there a little bit of a gap on the sides of the inside. but other than that, the welds look nice. Now I gotta order a test pipe to go in place of the cat since this header is longer than stock, (and ALOT light than stock too!) There was a guy that had like stage 1 cams or somethin and dynoed 199.??whp with the header, I remember reading it on here bout 3 weeks ago. so for now, I shall drive open header and watch my ears bleed in vtec

megan racing headers are simply the best header you can get for the price. i dont care what anyone else has to say about that.
