I already have the fan mounted onto the condensor. I want to see pics or ideas of the way the fan/condensor combo has been mounted since the stock puller fan has the mounting holes.

Ah.. yea that would free up some space moving the fan to the other side, however it also greatly reduces the exposed surface area of the condensor so I dont know if it would be worth it.

I wouldn't say that it "greatly" reduces the surface area of the condensor, maybe a slight amount. The air flowing on the front of the car won't care that the fan is there, the air will still flow and heat will be transferred...
Anyone have any pics???

I would think that mounting a "pusher" style fan in front of the condensor/radiator would actually be less effective then the stock "puller" style fan. Why you ask? Because when the fan isn't on, it would effectively block off a certain amount of surface area from the air that normally passes through the radiator/condensor. It makes more sense from an engineering point to mount the fan behind the radiator and have it "pull" air across the heated surface. I think you will find this is the reason why Honda mounted them where they are.... Its simply a more effective way of cooling a heated surface by drawing air across it instead of forcing air over it.... could be the reason why CPU fans "pull" air and not push, as well as why home A/C condensors "pull" air and do not push.... well, you get my point.
I'm aware that they are not as effective as the stock puller fan. But it's an option of having the fan in it's stock location and it being 1/2" from the manifold, or placing it in front and have an extra 3-5 inches to work with. In my case, the trade off is well worth it.
Anyways, I don't want to get into a big argument as to what is more effective and what it affects, save that for another thread. I just need some pics or suggestions for mounting options of the condensor/fan combo. Thanks.
