Default So I just lowered my EG...here's a few pics...

Alright, so I've had my EG for about a month now and I absolutely love the car. I've wanted one for about 5 years, and I finally got one!!! I Picked up a set of Vision struts and springs from one of my buddies for super cheap and I thought I'd try them out. So here goes...

The Goods

Stock

Lowered, well kinda

...And a cool shot of my cluster, just for ***** and grins

So, obviously the car need wheels and tires desperately, but I can't stand driving around a totally stock car, it drives me nuts! I can't say that I'm too thrilled with the drop, I was expecting a bit more. The car also has a bit of a "ricer bounce" now unfortunately, which I think is mostly the 4 ft. tall sidewalls of my badass 13's. (hopefully!) The struts didn't have any oil on them so I relly don't think they're blown. I'm hoping that a set of 16's with some real tires on them will fix that! On the positive side, the car coreners very flat and seems to stick a bit better, even on those shitty 175's LOL! Hopefully when I install the B-Series the front will come down a bit more.

I'm planning on keeping the exterior very clean and simple, CF hood and Duckbill, and an EX/Si lip and that is about it. Reccomendations for wheels are welcome, please keep in mind that I am on a budget, so I don't plan on spending more than 1k for wheels and tires. Also, plese post pics or links for anything that is suggested, Thanks.

Car looks much better to me, and you said it handles better so there you go. Maybe some cheap HX rims with some sticky rubber or any lightweight rim combo that you prefer.

Definitly get H&R springs. I have H&R race. Lowers it nicely where it is not slammed.

sir cluster f00!

those springs and shocks were designed for a 2400+ pound sir model eg which is why it's not super low

Get the wheels and tires you want and lthen lower it further, especially if your going to get 205 tires
