p72 ecu.. what years are the same?

Default p72 ecu.. what years are the same?

i have a 98 integra GSR usdm ECU. i know 94-95 is obd1 and is all the same. is 96-99 the same? 00-01?

You're correct except for the 00-01 they have the immobilizer built into them. Plus the 00-01 year are OBD2B where the 96-99' are OBD2A.

there is also a difference in the 96-99 obdII ecus (p72); I've read the 98/99 p72's throw codes in the 96/97 gsr's cause they look for some kind of fuel tank pressure sensor which the 96/97 gsr's didn't come with, while the 96/97 p72's do not look for that sensor.

can someone confirm or refute this information, thanks.
