Let me start off by saying that I had just bought this bike making it my second bike owned. I previously had an 03'f4i that I loved lots but I had to get rid of it. Now I finally had everything worked out in my life and was able to by my 05' GSXR 600 cash. Thats a great feeling!
Anyway, I have two buddys that had recently purchased their first bikes. One is a 03'gsxr 600 and the other is an 05' 636. By the way, the orange on the 636 is rediculous. So we were bored tonight and went for a quick loop around the freeway and hit some side streets on the way back.
Now this is where it gets good.. i guess? My friend with the gsxr was previously giving the 636 **** for going down on his 2nd day of riding. Well, we all know that that is a big no no! So tonight we were at the gas station and my buddy on the gsxr lost his footing and, WACK, right on its side it went. So obviously the first thing that came out my mouth was," do you want to take a picture for your computer?" But he was kinda pissed about it at the time. Thankfully it just bearly scraped the side fairing and a little bit of the blinker.
Anyway, these pics were about 20 minutes after the 03' gsxr went down but oh well. By the way, this is a $30 digital camera that I got in a package with a printer and a bunch of pc goodies so criticize. Check it out,

How do you like the '05? I might be in the market later this year for one.

 

I love the 05'. I can only really compare it to the cbr but compared to that, I don't think the cbr felt as smooth and flickable as my bike does now. Definetley look into it. They are great bikes that will satisfy your craving!

The moral of the story kids: Start on a shitty bike, that you don't care about dropping.

I was wondering how your friend likes his '05 636? That will probably be my next bike, hopefully.
