Bent wheel, need help/opinions. I suck with colors :) Rota Circuits in Bronze?
Hey,
One of my crappy summer 16x7 wheels is bent. (They were bought in an emergency, I had cracked another rim and needed a new set quick). I don't want to bother fixing these, since I didn't like them anyway.
I already have 205/45R16 Hankook Z212 that I'm sold on running this summer, so it looks like I'm trapped in a 16" wheel for a little while longer.
I'm looking at Rota Circuit 10 in 16x7, or Slipstream for a few more bucks (both +45).
Is flat black "played out"? Is Rota "Classic White" too white for CW? Is Bronze reserved for the 2nd loser (third place?)
Taking opinions... thanks in advance for the help... these are for summer tires/wheels. They will see track pads, and infrequent washing, so brake dust could be a minor issue.
Price has to be under $150 per wheel. I'm cheap, and will probably bend or crack it in the next couple of years anyway. (It seems that my summer wheels last about as long as the summer tires)
Thanks,
Chris
(To be clear, my current first pick is probably Slips in flat black. But I'm taking ANY/ALL opinions, don't really care about brand etc.)

Yeah you're right, that is pretty hot.

Thanks guys.
Circuit 10's or Slips? Maybe the 10's, I'll have to check the weights...
Slip: 14.5 per Superhonda, 13.5 lbs per http://www.m1autosport.com

The Slips will weigh less, but I like the C-10's in 16's. If you were going 15's, the Slipstreams would look better.
I say C-10's.
How did you bend your wheel, anyway? Turn down that b00st, y0!

Just ordered the Bronze Rotas, but you're right the Circuit 10's were definitely better looking.
No idea how I bent the wheel, I didn't even notice until this spring when I rotated the summer tires, I knew one was way out of balance, but I had no idea it was as bad as it was. Inside rim of the tire was bent, outside was dead straight. Probably a pothole

Chris,
These are $25 cheaper
http://www.machiii.net/wheels/Rota_C10.html
Also, if it's not too late, Discount Tire can often get Rota rims and you won't have to pay shipping. If it is too late, well, sorry for rubbing the salt in the wound...

The link you sent me looks like $525. Not sure about shipping.

I made the same mistake, no worries
Actually I didn't realise it until I got to their website and calculated shipping.
I will post pics.

My opinion:
1. Silver
2. Gunmetal
Don't like white - always looks dirty.
Don't like black - looks like steel wheels or spare tires.
Anything else just looks like it doesn't match.

Rota Gunmetal is pretty much a black color. Steel Gray is the normal "gunmetal" color.
One more thing, Chris

Slips 16x7 +45 bronze.
There's something classy about bronze and brakedust.
p.s. regarding the inventory, they only have 3 slips available in that color anyway, I guess I'll be waiting for them.

I was just wondering what Bronze USDM R wheels would look on a CW R.

"Not bad".... a little greener than I'd like, I think I saw that color white on an RSX.
Anyhow, yep! Here they are.

Sometimes I suck at making decisions. The ones I ordered in Bronze were on backorder, so I called JayDM and at the same time I changed to Classic White.

look nice, But for track use I like the white- can see cracks easy, But black SS would be great to hide dust and save weight...
