the saga continues.. 00 SI gettng K24 transplant v1.0
well ive been working on this during the past few weeks, so far so good, although so much little **** is needed its ridiculous, but its expected on a swap so new. started out with a 04 K24 TSX longblock with about 1 mile on it, a type S tranny and a blown K20R longblock which was completely dissasembled for spare parts.
the cams i swapped over along with the Intake manifold and TB, which went right on, just gotta fab a block off plate for the extra coolant holes on the tsx head. and swapped over the jdm oilpan which was about 10x beefier than the tsx one.
so far we have sourced civic radiator and gsr coolant hoses, hasport header, braided lines for the fuel rail, awaiting an aem fuel rail. starter, jdm ecu and idler pulley.. so far still needing shifter box and cables and axles for right now. harness is on its way in from hasport and this baby should be up and running real soon.

definitely low, but cars sitting on steelies right now so it will definitely go up a bit more with the wheels that are going on the car after the bodywork.
if anyone has anything to share on their k swap any tips would be nice, swap seems cake just all the parts the have to be sourced is a pain

its alive!

ohhh

closer..

holy crap!!!!

hmm

as you can tell interior is far from done.

gotta have a baby shot! :D

as you can tell the only issue right now is the oil pan, **** is way too low than we even realized, and city streets are murder! and we threw out the TSX oilpan like idiots! so if anyone has one holla !!
car is being tuned by myself on an AEM EMS 1070, so far 40% of tuning is done, car needs to get a few more miles before WOT tuning can continue, hope to hit the dyno this week and we hit etown this weekend for honda day!!

DAMN looks like you're going to need some sort of skid plate for the oil pan. Anyway this should be interesting. ***subscribing***
btw TSX header definitely did not clear the bottom subframe so that **** had to go, hasport header ready to go in its place.

Nice!! Always good to see people doing K swaps. The reason the oil pan sits so low with the hasport mounts is cuz its a k24. The block is longer by a few inches and yea so the oil pan fitment sucks, and the only thing you can do about it is put a skid plate. In my hatch the k20 pan sits that low due to the mounts, if i had the hasport ones it would sit nice and high.....no money though!! Gluck on the swap, keep us updated
