I've heard stories of the axles snapping, anyone know of the best axles to get, or had any good/bad experiences with certain ones?

 

i've read that if you use hassport mounts, you can use honda axels and they work perfect...but if you get any other mounts, you would have to get raxel axels...hope that helped you out

You need to use the 90-97 accord sohc midshaft, and the 90-93 Integra axles.

Oh crud, I forgot to say those axles only work for the 92-2k Civic.

Raxles has/had the wrong combination for quite awhile now.... even my friend got the wrong combo AFTER asked me what to get for his car. I think Raxles is now using the combo I told my friend (cause my friend pass the info along to them) so it should be alright. When using a Prelude intermediate shaft (which most of the H22 swaps come with), use 86-89 Integra axles with Civic outer joints and Prelude inner joints. Works perfect and doesn't break (I've launched my car hard many times, and have had madd wheel hop.... no problems with the axles yet)

FYI, we're running the HCP mount kit.... and if you use either the HCP or HASport H22 kit, you use the same axle setup. If you run the Place Racing kit, it's a totally different combo that I have no idea what it is.

 

well i got my setup from raxles had a little trouble at first but we settleed it.. i am taking it anyhow that he is running a 5th gen civic ...(hasport) i am running a EJ with h22a that setup...

So I'll just call the guy up and ask for what you just wrote down? I really don't know too much about axles, and how they are put together.

 

All you need to do is use the proper axles as I stated above.
