Default painting sideskirts

well I picked up a cheap "touch" up paint kit for my sideskirts...its starting to crack after you open the door and let me tell you....it sucked lol! I wound up using nail polish remover to get rid of it and not only did I remove it, I really rubbed off the paint on the inside. My question is, how much would I be looking to spend on painting both side skirts....might as well do both if im doing one....also I have the OEM type r side skirts and rear coming so I don't know what would be better to wait and have them all painted at once or would I be able to buy a spray bottle and do the side skirts myself and have the body shop do the rest?? Also do the OEM Type R skirts fit completely over the stock ones or just on the outside...what I mean is do they cover over the entire part including the part which I messed up....inside the door? Any input I will try to put pics

What you have are oem sideskirts. Painting them costs about 25 bucks if you do it yourself. I just took mine off, sanded them, cleaned them and repainted them in a makeshift paint booth i made in my garage. They look great as well.

OEM Integra Sideskirts = rough, hard plastic surface. unpainted.

OEM Integra Type-R Sideskirts = Same as Integra Sideskirts but painted from the factory.

OEM Optional Integra Sideskirts = different shape altogether, also painted from the factory.

OEM optional side skirts dont "cover" the regular ones you have bud. they install completely in place of them.

sorry if im wrong but arent the oem type r side skirts slightly diferent than regular oem ones? from what ive been told they are little longer and more square...if you look at typical integra sideskirts they usally come about a third of an inch short on the front

mmm, not really
I had '99 gsr oem trim black side skirts and recently replaced them with oem "champ white" ITR side skirts and they are a bit different. The ITR are about 1/8 inch longer and go all the way to the back of the wheel well, where the regular Dc2 skirtcame up short. Im 100% positive of this and I even compared them side by side, off of the car to confirm this. Itr is longer even though they had similar part number.
