Not your typical car for honda-tech, but I'll give it a try. Los Angeles area.
$4,000 O.B.O. or trade (see below)
1979 Triumph Spitfire
67k miles on odometer
Engine and transmission have 6k miles since rebuild
Partially restored interior
Current California registration
VIN: FM100269C (yes, thats the whole VIN)
Runs great. This used to be my daily driver, now its my weekend cruiser. I've had it for 11 years. It has factory (76 year only) 9:1 pistons (0.020" over) and a 76 camshaft for a little more power. Radiator replaced with a much thicker one, so no overheating. Weber carburetor (factory Stromberg included), Mallory distributor and coil (original Lucas included), Monza header, high flow catalytic, custom exhaust. Added oil cooler. Replaced rear spring. Alot more I can't remember off the top of my head. I had it painted some 8 years ago, but it still looks pretty good, not perfect though. I have both a factory steel hard top, and an aftermarket soft top.
Price is negotiable.
As for trades, I'd prefer the cash, but I'll take a manual transmission civic coupe or hatchback (with cash to balance it out if necessary, even if that means I pay the cash).
To give fair warning, if sold to another California resident, it doesn't always pass smog, even though it gets over 35 mpg city and the measured HC count was 12 ppm (244 max permitted), because of the non-oem equipment (fails visual if the tech cares), and the aftermarket carburetor doesn't allow the egr to be used (higher NOx count). I've only had minor annoyances with getting it registered over the years though.

I have pictures of the engine bay, and they will be emailed on request.
Any questions, please PM me, or reply.

Stock, it had 71 bhp and 82 ft/lbs, and weighed in just under 1800 lbs, counting water, oil, and all that, but without the steel roof on. And it was a "sports car" in its day...
Currently, I don't know what it produces, but the compression is bumped (9:1 pistons, decked head), increased displacement (0.040" overbore), the carburetor changed, header, free flowing exhaust, port and polish, engine balanced, and a "street" cam that gives it a somewhat rough idle. The carb was tuned on the street, and its a little rich, so theres more power that could be made, but your guess is as good as mine what it really produces.

Visually, the lack of thermostatic air control, the sponge air filter, missing smog pump bypass, and the lack of an egr, fail the visual. I believe the last tech complained about "modified pcv system" as well, but it was connected directly from the valve cover to the air filter. The timing is also advanced a bit, and while thats fixable for a smog test, it doesn't run nearly as well with retarded timing.
Yeah, long list, but I was in high school at the time, and just needed it to be reliable. Also, all of the aftermarket "performance" parts were much cheaper than oem parts and since I get 50 mpg highway, I would never want to have it stock.
Strictly, the carb and intake mani are not legal either, but the techs have no clue what is stock and what isn't. The pistons and cam are not legal either, but you can't check that. No aftermarket company has bothered to get their parts a CARB EO number. I'll never understand cali smog...
I have the stock carb, intake, and egr, just not on the car. I do not have the stock exhaust or air pump bypass.
I don't know if they are original shocks, I'm the 3rd owner. I haven't replaced them, but they still keep the car from bouncing after spring compression, so they're still good.
