Default Buddy club Pro Spec vs. Spec III

I'm really stuck between the 2. I like the Spec III because it sticks out further than your normal tip and will help keep the rear bumper clean. The Pro Spec is a bit cheaper, but doesn't give me that extra few inches which I know will result in a blacker rear bumper. Are there any pros or cons that you guys know of between the 2 exhaust systems that I should know about?

Spec III

Pro Spec

TIA

u will have less chance to scrap with Pro Spec. they are made for US design cars.

and Spec III runs down from ur LCA so if ur car is low ur fuked.lol

Loud: Pro Spec < Spec III (but both sound nice )
Gain: Pro Spec < Spec III (very lil more)
Scrap problem : Pro Spec <Spec III
connection: Pro Spec all bolt down
Spec III have spring thingy at the middle slip fit

also they are 2.38inch. Why not try custom exhaust? 2.5"b-pipe, 22"magnaflow resonator. 2.5" ES oval muffler <--iam going to get this setup

I have not heard the BC ProSpec But it's gotta be quieter then the III , my vote it for the ProSpec- and the thing has flanges so it can't fall off your car when the springs take a hike

T1R is my vote . I know its not your selection but it has 2.5 inch piping and is pretty quiet, IMO.

Well right now, my budget for the expo is under $500 for an exhaust and the only ones I can think of that are worth it are the Buddy Club or RSR. The piping on the RSR looks like crap and I don't know if I want to risk having an exhaust that hangs that low. I don't want to hassle with a custom exhaust either. I would like the T1R, but I haven't found one for under $700 shipped without the bottle neck in the b-pipe.

The Spec III runs over the LCA, not under. It clears the ground pretty good.

I love my Pro-Spec. My car runs extremely rich and my rear bumper stays clean as can be. It is very very loud though. I dont' think its unbearable, but it is loud as crap. heres a small video if you want to hear it on a c5.

This is the pro spec on my R. From what the guys at buddy club us told me they said both sound the same but one is us length and the other jdm length.
And yes it is pretty loud.

not an R, but here's mine. You can see what it looks like on a 97 bumper.

Would you say that it is noticably louder than the Apexi N1?

I think the Spec III is what's going to be my choice. The best price I've found it for is $499 shipped. Where did you find the Pro Spec at that price for?

Thanks for the heads up Rob . I messed with the ones for an RS*R and have a good idea how to properly install them without losing an eye.

http://www.robearracing.com/pd_buddy.cfm Here's where I got mine. Great people to deal with.

I'd say its about the same volume as an N1. I haven't owned an N1 and only heard one on an integra once, but I'd say its pretty close if not a bit quieter. I love the sound. Not overbearing at all.
