I've been running mine up to 8,800rpms quite often for 7k miles now with no issues. I have the bottom end balanced however.

mine have seen 11k now and again....they are shot peened micropolished and have arp bolts in them though....and the entire rotating assembly was balanced including clutch/flywheel....but they havnt broke yet...i usually shift at 8800to9000 though....

Basically if you have them balanced well enough you shouldn't have a problem. Running ARP rodbolts is definately a wise idea regardless of how high you're revving.

its good to have the bottom end balanced and shot peening the rods definitely will help but a definite insurance would be swapping to arp bolts

... which reminds me, nothing wrong with stock rod bolts (unless reused, like any torque to yield fastener) in a Honda. The rod fails in other areas.
