Im cruising at 40mph and all of a sudden I smell gas...look out the rear window and see white-ish smoke pouring out and I cant rev higher than 3000rpm...its like a fuel cut off/redline at that point.

Im thinking its my FPR....sound right? Right now Im stranded at work. I need a quick solution. Is it OK to drive like this to a shop or auto parts store?

 

Hmmm....any ecu error codes? White smoke is usually coolant or oil. A dark grey or black smoke indicates excess fuel.

 

I have codes 14 (IACV) and 43 (fuel system supply)

 

Fix the codes....what engine and ecu are you running? I think d16z6 but not sure?

 

its a 90 hatch with B18a1 swap...just went to check and see if there are more codes and now there are

code 1 -02 sensor
code 14- IACV
Code 16-fuel injectors
code 43- fuel system supply

Is is safe to drive to the shop while its running so rich like this. Its only like 5 miles at most.

It should be ok. Just takeit easy and baby it there. If you are so worried just tow it.
