looks like i am a victim as well....

 

to the others that have paid through paypal i am assuming, i used my credit card to make the payment yesturday, since the payment was still pending i called my credit card company to have the transaction cancelled, therefore my funds were never added to my paypal account which means the money i sent ShinAkuma is void as if the cc transaction does not go through, how can i send money to someone that never got transferred into my account...after spending the last hour reading up on paypal's policies, i filed a claim about the transaction and according to the terms and services agreement thingy, if transaction of adding funds to your account is cancelled but you still send a payment to the seller, the payment is voided and if the seller (ShinAkuma) has already withdrew the funds they are responsible for the money

cliff: if paid through paypal, call bank or credit card company, cancel the transaction from going through, person receiving payment (ShinAkuma) is responsible for the funds that never got added to the account due to canceling the transaction

i'm still giving the seller some credit as it has only been a day, he may just may have not been able to get to his computer today for all we know...however i have canceled my payment and opened the dispute through paypal just in case as the sooner it happens the better, if it turns out the guy has already shipped it then hopefully he'll be refunding the other buyers, we'll see though...i always hope for the best...

 

Dont give him any credit at all, he pm'd me some stupid link last night about adam busch. Since now i'm sure it's not him i'm going to find out who I spoke to.

Anyway, I'm not in a good mood about it... but it is partially my own fault, I had a funny feeling from the beginning.

I'll find this guy, no worries.

 

the second number in the fax numbers to wendys works, and there is someone who works there named alex burke(which is either the guys real name, or the real name of the ht member whos acct/paypal was jacked...), so give him a call and see whats up, i will be when i get off of work, all i know is though that my cc pmt was cancelled and paypal has put a freeze on his acct from withdrawing funds, so im in the clear luckily as far as losing out $1000...

 

yeah that has to be him, i was told that alex burks was his brother in law...
everything seemed legit with it at the time, but oh well...

we'll see.

I dont appreciate you lying about EVERYTHING. You still lied about all of it even after i asked you straight. What's your real name anyway? Alex or Adam?...

If you had been straight with people then maybe things would have worked out better... this was still a scam you accepted 3k told ppl they would get it but you only planned to ship to one person. You used several different names, emails, numbers... but whatever.

Not out to slander its just the facts.

Akkord94 i suggest you dont take the kit... but do whatever you want.

 

this was a very bad way to try to sell the kit, one person at a time, let the others know offers are pending but dont tell 3 people to send pmt at the same time with the intentions of refunding two people later on, and u may not appreciate him giving out your #'s but when u stop responding to PM's and threads right after you collect $3000+ what is anyone going to expect??? the least you could have done is called a friend to post SOMETHING about the 3 payments or something...ill check my email when i get home tonite to see what the response was and canc'ing the dispute...but u cannot be mad at peoples reactions to how shady this was and that he posted your info, him posting ur info and all of us contributing to this thread and updating is why people even still buy stuff on HT...

i think the only way ur gonna sell anything is if someone can convince a mod to hold the funds in escrow until they receive the goods and if everything is ok, then the mod will xfer the money to u, but most of the mods are too busy/lazy to be willing to do that so gl with that...if akkord doesnt take the kit i will but some arrangement will have to be made of course so i dont get fucked....

I agree. In my opinion at this point there is too much risk in buying this... with as much lying as was done I would not pay for it unless it was installed and tested... only way to be sure everything works... then pay for it. I sure as hell dont want the thing anymore... I'm not buying anything 'large' on honda-tech anymore unless its local... too much risk.

buy it if you're feeling lucky...

I'm still waiting on this refund I'm supposed to be getting.
