Default Honda Civic Models & Years...

Hello,
I am new to this forum therefore please be patient if I posted in wrong section.

I have very little knowlegde about cars... I recently just got my license back after 3-years. I am looking to purchase a car now that will fit my budget I need one for my job.

I am looking for a Honda Civic... That is Manual trans & that has a Sunroof/moonroof.
(It cannot be a coupe I need a sedan/4-door)

Can you guys please list all Civic models you know that Are Sedan,Manual Trans,Sunroof/moonroof?
Thanks in advanced.

DX is the same as LX except for things like power windows and stuff, sometimes CD player. EX is where u get better body style (usually) and in most cases VTEC.

(correct me if im wrong, i just looked at newer ones and this is what i noticed

for his style and preference yes...but you will see some argue that the ex is too heavy and like other models because they are lighter...

If you want a sedan look for the ex's and Si's. Yes, Si's come in Sedans, they are harder to find than hatchbacks but they are still out there. It comes with the SOHC VTEC (already wired for VTEC for a future swap). They have disk breaks wrapped all around and dual side airbags (94+).

If you want a sunroof fine but it adds around 400lbs that are (somewhat) not needed. Clean cars though. Good luck

he was talking about 92-95

no, there is no 4 door SI in canada.

but we do have a SI coupe, thats it

and for the original poster:
for 92-95
for sedans

they have DX and LX, those are base modles, no options or just basic options, engine is a SOHC (D15B7) 102 hp

the EX has a moonroof and power everthing, and a SOHC VTEC engine (D16Z6) 127 hp

102HP is awful. Si's (because of the weight of the sunroof primarily) are meant for engine swaps, yeah they look good but the old difference between them and ex's are the disk breaks in the back.

Oddly enough, I would give up my Si Hatch for nothing, they're priceless.

Read what I wrote again. I said SI's are made for swaps because they are heavy as hell. Stock Cx's and Dx's are light as hell. A turbo and good tuning and you'll run 11's and 12's. Si's are heavy they need a new engine.
