Judging by the valve covers and intake manifold plate, the engine looks like a 3.0L

Yup looks like a 3.0 unless the changed the covers

 

It sold for $2800! That could be scary considering the "grey area" of the condition of the motor.

 

More like $3,435.00 Canadian=3000 or so US, that is way too much for an engine that is unproven. Thge trans isn't worth a thing, same goes for most of those parts.

 

well if it was pulled from a crashed car or something,
not cuz it NEEDED to be pulled..

then it's probably fine,
I mean.. it is an n/a stock motor afterall,
i'ts not like a boosted motor where it could be easily abused..
