Just got back from the Dyno: Turbo D16z6
Hello,
Here is more info on the setup.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1157456
This run was at about 9-10psi. From the other dynos i've seen, I guess it would be considered about average or perhaps a little low. Please tell me what u guys think. Any tips would be appreciated.

Hehe funny thing ATP offered to switch it out for me. Me and a friend argued about it for a whole day. He wanted me to keep the 2871r while i wanted to switch for the RS. As you can tell he won. Either way the car pulls great. Its just nice to be able to put a Number to the feeling.

Yeah it does feel great. It was pulling so hard the Butt dyno had it some where around 230-235. Now that we know its only putting down 210. I'm actually kind of fearfull of my 300hp goal. Can't imagine what it would feel like. I'm gonna keep it this way for a month or so then get a EBC and some dipers.

LOL. Get the oens witht he extra side support flaps so it can hold more. haha :D How much bosot you hoping to run to achieve 300WHP? 15ish? That's a good torque curve tho. still surpirsed torque curve is fallnig off. Wonder how it'll be on my B16..

I aiming for 15ish. But I doubt i'll hit 300. The way the cars is pulling I'd be happy if I hit 260-280.
Hopefully u guys can help my analyze the dyno graph cause this is my first attempt at tuning. I've done alot of reading but any tips u guys can offer would be great. What so strange about the torque curve? Please enlighten me.

Dam...butt dyno is a bitch, specially with them skinny cheeks of yours. lol!!
See now you know what 200 whp feels like. Time to crank that boost up sir!
The only reason I wanted you to keep the 2871r is because your whp goal would be easier to reach

Hey, you gotta think about the true essence of the butt dyno. It is a possibility that you're *** was reading hp at the flywheel, in which case you were close to 230-235. The problem seems to be with your head, as your *** seems to be accurtate.
Nice numbers!
Nice numbers!

here is a comparison with a gt28rs
http://www.evans-tuning.com/viewtopic.php?t=1391
can't really compare since they are using an equal length

Wow lol. I voerlapepd the two and theya re nearly identical. Only time the GT28RS rises higher is around 5000 RPM and up at same bosot level.
But then you bring in the fact that A:
GT2871R has the .63 Log manifold
and
GT28RS has the .82 Equal length manifold. I would assume the manifold and the larger turbine housing A/R made up for the smalelr compressor wheel
very itneresting

Also noticed that it looks like the GT28RS setup hits 10PSI 500RPM earlier and carries the pwoerband ncier then the 2871R. Maybe because of the .63AR choice..Ity's really hard to compare as that 28rs setup had a turbo cam as well...
