Default From a broken S2200 engine to full race

The S2200 engine was overboosted and cracked a cylinder

The crack is ground into a trench in preparation for the weld

Benson ductile iron sleeves are installed and bored back to 87mm

The crank is balanced and micropolished to a mirror finish

Custom CP pistons were designed to keep the factory quench intact but drop the compression ratio to 9-1 for large amounts of boost.

Bottom end uses a Cunningham rod with custom specs

An all out PortFlow head was designed and flowed. The biggest gains were found on the exhaust side after some long hours. The ports, valves and valve job were maxed out for turbo use. SuperTech springs, titanium retainers and custom sized valves were used.

It took a lot of work on the intake side to keep low lift flow as good as Honda designed it while still increasing the flow at higher lift. PortFlow and SuperTech got the job done.

Not sure how much horsepower this engine will make. It is going into a street/show car that will see nothing but C16 for fuel on the street. When we tune, I will let everyone know.
