Hey everyone, in the greater midwest..

Windy City BMWCCA is running Road America (Elkhart Lake, WI) on April 30/May 1st.

Anyone in? I will be, haven't paid yet but plan on it. Should be fun! Type R's can surprise a lot of BMWs there.

In my experience, HPDE's get more track time when not run at the same time as a club race, and this is NOT a club race weekend. Non-BMWCCA members are invited for an extra $50, but a 1-year membership is $40.

This will be my third time at RA with BMWCCA.

Good warm-up for Expo, also a good chance to work out the bugs in your setup.

RA is the longest track in the US to commonly get HPDE's. VIR has one configuration that is just a bit longer, but the normal "full" course is smaller.

No, I haven't been there before, but already have the application filled out.

HAHA, I am continually hearing this since I have signed up for the Expo.

ALSO: I signed up for Road America, April 9/10 with NASA. If you're gonna be at Road America this spring, you'll probably see me. $295 for a 2-day HPDE. If I can count, 7 half-hour sessions between Sat&Sun.

When are you going to be back in IL?
