well im stuck in a damn hole. i just bought a new walbro 195 fuel pump for my gsr swap and FINALLY found my manual. it says i have to drop the tank! i thought that i was able to remove the storage compartment and do it form inside the car. im guessing no...i dont know how much gas i have but as a pre-caution it wants me to drain it..well yea i have a 5 gallong bucket but thats it. i also have an atv/ jack..should i drop the tank on the atv jack and roll the tank out from under the car? can i do it form inside the car? since i have the jack should i just leave the gas in? what should i do?

 

drop it. I think it's too much BS to have it half way down...

 

I had my car on stands and droped the tank. things worked better that way for me.

well i got it out now but the damn hoses were a pain in the *** so i just cut a few. im just gonna go buy new ones anyway because i was scared they were corroded. damn bay area rust too! gonna clean some of it up and paint over and good to go...
