Default Finished GSR cluster in 88 CRX. Big pics..

Here it is.. 98 GSR cluster in my gsr crx. If you have newer windows it should resize them to the size of the window.. if you have 98 or older.. sorry.

I dont have a hood yet. Im going to cut the top off the 88 and add some fiberglass and make it fit real nice.. The switches that were in the old hood i relocated to where the sunroof switch is (theres little blanks beside it) so there not hanging (i think they are in the pic)

But here it is.. 9.5k 150MPH its nice.

Pics Below

Both at night.. One without flash, one with. Yeah theres a small scratch on the cover and finger marks on the inside

Umm.. wiring is simple. 50% of the wires match in colour.. Like for the battery gauge it had its own + and - unlike all the other lights that shared a ground.. The dimmer wiring was a bit weird but the dimmer is just a big positive branch.. all the other side of most lights are negative.. Then the VSS. Its a orange wire on the 88 crx.. it already goes to the ECU so you just run a VSS wire splice in at the cluster and bang.. Most of the sensor wires will go to a screw and beside the screw it will say TU (temp unit) of FU (fuel unit) or it will go to a bulb.. The tach was (SP) i think... Its real easy!

Like i said.. Im making a custom cover so the cluster dosent look tilted or cut off.. It will fit real nice.

Goodluck, Highly recommended

It's the posters job to resize. It's in the H-T rulebook...

really no info to give besides to becareful in your wiring. i didnt use a wiring chart or anything, i just traced the back of the cluster and matched up what went where. its not really that hard. then you just wire up the vss and your good to go.

I added some info up top..

Mechanical just run a electrical VSS i got mine from a 92 hatch d series.

**Does anyone know if the speedo is accurate.. arent GSR clusters calibrated for 15" factory wheels??**

Dont call me a noob because i dont have a resizing program.. Noobs can do GSR clusters.

You don't have a resizing program? You've got Windows don't you? It usually comes with Paint. Which Paint sux anyway. Google for a program called IrfanView. It's an image viewer, not an editor, but it does have a few limited editing capabilities, like cropping, resizing, hue/saturation adjustments, etc... The great thing about it is that you can open pretty much every image file type there is, even Photoshop .psd's.
