Default AWD F20C CRX

This is what I want, you guys help me with some of the details. I want to turn my 1986 Honda CRX into an All-Wheel-Drive powerhouse using the '02 S2000 motor and preferably keeping the 6 speed manual tranny. If anyone has any idea of how to do this, the parts involved, other suggestions, etc. please post up.

Thanks in advance for the posts.

Sure, just slap on a transfer case and a custom diff and youre all set.

1] Lots and lots of money.
2] A good fabricator.
3] No need to drive that car for a long time.

Your going to basically need an entirely new chassis, a fabricated driveshaft, axels, mounts, ect. I would imagine the fire wall would have to be chopped up quite a bit to fit that motor/trans in there. But I've seen the s2k in a AE86 so anything is possible with a big imagination and even larger wallet. - Darrell

You won't find much help here. This is one of those things you just have to do yourself, with some (very little you will find) local help. Good luck!

Why? If you want AWD go buy a Talon/Eclipse, WRX, CRV, ETC...what is the huge craze with making hatch's and CRX's AWD. I'm so sick of seeing these posts...leave these poor cars alone from heavy modifications like these. AHH

you guys should get together

It's not happening, sorry man. There's turbo b18c1 AWD CRX but thats because there is AWD support for the B series from the CRV. Why don't you focus on making your CRX fast, if you had money to even consider your F20 AWD set up, why don't you drop an H22, K20, or a B18 instead?

sorry about the haters out there, but what did you think, someone was just going to tell you how to do it. you would be better off finding a way to bolt that crx body to a jeep frame and calling it a day. good luck

do people think of the most obscure **** ever just to post something? thats like saying: i want a jet powered volvo, not with just any jets though, i want 5 jets off a boeing 747 modified to run not off jet fuel, but bubble solution. when i accelerate using a pencil sharpener, bunnies and bubbles, not exhaust will exit the turbines - you know, for an economically safe bubble jet driven, bunny emitting jet powered volvo. but i dont want to modify the chassis so it is still structurally safe if i happen to crash at 3453945694586 knots (its knots, not mph), so i wont bump my head. puuuuuh-lease!!!!
