Default 92mm Crank off-the-shelf street motor buildup ...

Started assembling our street car all motor for the FROG this weekend.
I took some pics ...
Endyn contributed alot to this bad boy ... hope to wrap it up and get it into the car by the weekend ... maybe even dyno it ... will post some dyno charts if i do.

Larry is still working on the head for this motor, we'll use another head here with slightly bent valves until the Endyn killer arrives ...

some specs:

custom 84.5mm endyn's latest technology pistons for 92mm crank
137 eagle long rods
92mm crower crank
estimated compression around low 13's
JUN 3 camshafts
TWM ITBs
4 different headers to see which works best with the setup.

here are some pics:

had a few visitors too ...

In 20yrs this'll be the new Leslie Durst or Lisa Kubo ... proud daddy

This guy's name is Toda ... named after Toda Racing ... he almost bit me when I told him I was running JUN cams

I agree.... Anyways, do things the right way. Why is taking so long for your head? No reason why you shouldnt get it back in a timely matter.....

In the arsenal we'll try:
- hytech race (for the racecar i'll borrow)
- ANR regular not the "curly" one, the one that comes off the head like 10 feet LOL ... only fits EG/EM chassis with small radiators and no a/c
- two SMS headers, a side exit race and a rear exit 4 piece header
- Toda Racing and a Spoon (if we have the time)

thanks man, yeah she is a piece of work ... you'd think she's into dolls and barbies, she takes away her brother's cars and trains LOL

the Pit is a friend's, Pit's name is Toda (friend is obviously a racing fanatic LOL)

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> Greg, what is the PDH?
</TD></TR></TABLE>

they actually stick out about 15 thou ... i think this block was milled some ... gonna use HG to compensate though.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> sounds like a hella motor. i wanna see what she pulls on the dyno.

yeah, hopefully Ralphy at DRT can squeeze us in ... crazy Nelson likes to drive on the dyno, crazy dude always powershifting and **** ... LOL

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> good god... and you guys call that a street motor
</TD></TR></TABLE>

actually I used to have 86mm bored street motors with slightly higher compression LOL ... 84.5mm pistons was all Endyn had at the time so we went with it, hopefully the sleeves hold up, they are darton open deck ones ...

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> good setup cant wait to see it rip! video clips are expected man no less !!
</TD></TR></TABLE>

actually I got a new video camera from Santa this past XMAS so yeah we'll take some videos ... problem is no one wants to get into the car with me when I wanna take it out for a spin ... no idea why, bunch a chickens

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> .....what crank are you using gregaroo?
</TD></TR></TABLE> LOL in the subject line, a Crower 92mm Crank ... Endyn did specialty order on these bad boys ... nice crank, incredible clearance (bearing and thrust)

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> Anyways, do things the right way. Why is taking so long for your head? No reason why you shouldnt get it back in a timely matter.....

we're the ones actually slacking jsut sent it out to him a week or so ago ... head was really f'd apparently ... he told us we know how to damage **** real good LOL, but got lucky cause it was fixable.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> ahh the TODA lovers finally switchin over to the true king of cams huh greg?
</TD></TR></TABLE>

man, now you sound like Larry ... he's been telling me to leave the Toda stuff for years now, I still like the products though, I just mix and match stuff and they work pretty good. Evne have a Toda header for my S2000 LOL ...

I took some more pics ... will post it later. Glad so many interests in this build, I'll disclose and post as much updates as i can.

Greg

Good looking pit, mine barked at the screen, "Turbo" does not like other Honda Pits.
