Fidanza or Act pro lite flywheel?
I am going to purchase a flywheel and want a 8lb one. Just wondering what set up would be a better flywheel. I have an ACT street clutch. Thanks for your help.
act...teh repolaceable face is a shitty thing
where the weight comes off matters more than the physical amount of lbs...you want weight removed form the outside, where act removes it...
plus fidanza is aluminum...not a great material to make somthig that needs to be strong, and you cant ever resurface em

you dont need to resurface them, thats where the replacable friction surface comes in, as for the strength problem, aluminum is fine, if your really worried about it, get a cromoly flywheel

Dude, every aluminum flywheel has a steel insert. I am pretty sure I can distinguish between aluminum and steel to start with, but thanks for your concern.

on my 240 I have a Fidanza flywheel with a steel insert, the insert was chewed as hell when I got it ( got it for free) so I got a new insert for 50$, I would assume if the friction surface isnt messed up badly you can resurface it, but if it was like mine, which was abused with a 6 puck solid hub, you need a new surface, my .02$
