Default leaky hatch

so i came out to my car today, and there is about an inch of standing water in the spare tire tub (i stripped my interior). i asked my friend who has an EF hatch, and he said that some people that he knew that had CRX's had the same problem, and that they found out that it was comming from the rear window wiper. any of you guys have the same problem? i think something might have rocked loose on the wiper too, because theres a buzzing comming from back there inside the car when im on the throttle. whats the best way to fix the wiper from leaking? i was thinking about like a silicone or caulking type stuff around the inside and outside parts, but am alittle unsure.

what i was thinking was taking some saran warap and taping it over the spots i thought it would be leaking, and then if the saran wrap was wet then i could tell at which spot it was leaking from.

You might want to check the rear hatch seems. ef's are notorious for leaking where the roof and rear hatch area join....at the seam. if you follow your gutters on both sides of the car back to where they dump out to the hatch area u might find your leak right where it dumps at the rear. All it takes is a hairline crack from body flex to have you scratching your head looking for the leak...just my .02
