Default Floor rust

I don't know what's wrong with the search feature, but all posts that came back under rust keep giving me the message "no posts exist in this topic". So I need to know something from you guys.

I checked my new HB car yesterday, and I found a small thin hole, about 1/4 inch thick, and 3 inches long, right under the spare tire. Is this a common thing for these civics?

You probably have a water leak in the rear of the car somewhere (taillight seals are a common problem). Leaks in the rear will often find their way down into the spare tire well, where the water will just sit because it has nowhere else to go.

Makes sense, because my hatch has several issues. Won't open, and sounds like it rattles, so it may not be on there properly. Also, nothing works on the hatch (wiper, defrost, brake light), i'm thinking some one replaced it, but did a terible job at it.
