Remove the intake/Battery tray/ and the starter. There's a wide/thin bolt beneath it. I believe its the metric equivalent to a 3/4" socket. And beneath the tranny there is a plug with a square hole, just pop your 3/8th" wrench onto it like it was a socket and start loosening. - Darrell

or get a long funnel. Pull the speedometer sensor out of the trans, and wa-la big *** hole, put long *** funnel into big *** hole and pore 1 9/10 quarts of yo' fluid into trany. Put speedometer sensor back. Then drive that Mo' Fo' all weekend long. Don't forget to stop and get some gas though. The bolt is a 10mm, pull it out. Take a srew driver and pop the sensor out. You don't have to take the cable off either. Have fun!!!!!

1)park car in 1st gear and set parking brake
2)get floorjack and raise passenger side frontend high enough so you have room to work.
3)Remove passenger side wheel
4)MAKE SURE YOU LOOSEN THE TRANSMISSION FILL PLUG BEFORE LOOSENING THE DRAIN PLUG(itll be a large plug (I think its 19mm)right next to the upper control arm) THE REASON I SAY THIS IS BECAUSE THE FILL PLUG IS AT A VERY HARD ANGLE TO REACH AND IS VERY EASY TO ROUND THE HEAD!!!! (The drain plug is the 3/8 square plug in) If you dont do this youll end up draining your transmission and having no way to refill it until you get a new plug from honda,(and get your old one off)
5)Drain your old transmission fluid from the aforementioned 3/8 plug-in
6)get 2-3 feet of clear plastic hose to lead into the transmission
7)add transmission fluid into trasmission until fluid pours out of the hole, then put the plug back in
8)put wheel back on
9)lower car from floorjack

The filler plug is a 17mm:
The black hole in the center is where the passenger side axle goes in..

...or if you want to stay clean you can remove your reverse light sensor and fill there, easy does it.

You still have to check the level though.

Reverse switch is at the end of the blue line..

The green one is a vent hose which will probably work also but it is
kind of small..

I would have to say filling thru the VSS hole is the easiest and fastest.

My bad, I thought I had Redline. I bought this stuff, LUCAS High Performance/Heavy Duty 85/140 plus gear oil. I seen a "demo" gear set with this in action, It contains "climbing additives. Now is this the right stuff I need? is it good?

Fill the trans through the back up light sensor hole. It's the best and easyest way to do it. Be careful when you pull the wires off before you take the sensor out, then be careful when you wrench it out, its a knuckle buster. Its hard as hell to pore oil up in to the factory filler hole. Make sure you check the level of the oil through the factory filler hole. Its a messy job so put something on the ground to catch the oil that runs out. Have fun.

Dont use it. 10W30 motor oil or Honda MTF. Light weight stuff is a must for Honda trannys.
