Default OBX Headers any Good?

Are OBX headers for a h22 any good? They are only 155 on ebay. Doe anyone know what size collector is on the header. And if the pipes are any bigger than stock.

You only need one header not two. Also search, OBX's name has been mentioned a million times in the last couple of month.

I'd try the Megan Racing header if you want a cheap solution....

God damn it, STFU. You're saying he should have said "ARE OBX HEADER FOR A H22 ANY GOOD"? Does that sound right to you? No, it doesn't. Don't try to correct people if you're stupid.

Thank You

My main question is not really if they are good. But actually what size collector come on it.

Well, I can't speak to how much power it makes, since I haven't had it on a dyno yet, but I have one that is going in along with my H22A this weekend. The engine came without the stock manifold, and I needed something cheap to get it running, so the OBX fit the bill. It's not a bad looking piece, clean welds, etc. It fits pretty well too. I don't think i'll ever be able to tell if it actually makes power, since I'm going from a stock f22a1 to an h22a with that header installed from the get go. As for your collector question, I think it's 2.25", but I'll have to measure when I get home to find out for sure.

I also have _no_ idea if you can get it anywhere but Ebay, since that's where mine came from.

I just put one on my car also. I cut the flex pipe and the flange off right after the O2 bung and added 4' of straight pipe. I just needed something because I didn't have a manifold. The quality is similar to a DC header and it fine on my car although the motor is in a Teg so I'm not sure how well it will line up to existing sock prelude exhaust. Bang for the buck it get's a

Don't tell people what they should or should not say. You tried to correct someones grammer and you f'ed up.....and you can't even appologize or correct yourself. All you can do is use the word 'tool'.....sad.

There is no 'Thanks Again' for you.

ive heard the OBX headers are actually pretty damn good especially for their price, one of the few OBX peices that are actually worth buying. Of course theres better out there, but i heard it outperformed the DC header, which is way more expensive. This is just hearsay on my part tho, nothing factual (except for the good bang for buck)

All I have to say is that if you aren't too concerned about squeezing as much horsepower out of the motor as you possibly can then go for it The collector is probably 2" in diameter.

My Megan has exactly a 2" collector, and I got it for $85 + shipping for the stainless model. I did a thread showing pics of it, search topics under my name.

I think I'm gonna get those OBX ones, too. My headers have a leak in them so I gotta get some new ones.

They're certainly better than a stock set, right?

2 inches

I was actually more concerned about the pipes coming off of the head. Because the stock h22 ones are really small.

Here's my thread on the Megan and pics of it. It's almost surely the same thing as the OBX, and as I said, I got it for $85 brand new .......

Damn....if only they were carb exempt, I'd get one as well cuz my stock header is reallllly rusty and ugly. What headers are carb exempt? DC and I think Mugen?
