Default Another HID retrofit. =) 56K expect to wait.

i was working with some Audi A4/6's.. 4300K bulbs, and matching audi ballasts.

so i cut off the stock hallogen projector, and sized it up to the HID projector.

pretty damn close... so i started to ream out the base of the hallogen projector so the HID would fit.

now were starting to get somewhere...

so now i slap on the front bumper, and take a look.

the pay off is deffenetly worth the hastle. reflective signs on the raod are clear as day, and its just the greatest thing in the world.

yeah, the skafia site is the way to go... me putting it in words would be the same damn thing.

i left them as is.. the HID acts as a low beam, and high beam is stock.. works pretty damn well with the HID's too... very bright, and very wide.. i like.

ya know, i was looking at it last night, and it does.. like 10 feet in front of the car.. but trust me... its night and day between hallogen and see'ing pot holes 50-75 feet away.. maybe even longer... the biggest improvemnt is road signs.. i swear you can see anything reflective for as far as you can see. stop signs 2 blocks away, road dumby's for miles... its wonderfull.

Hey Built B16, where did you get the projectors, and HID kit from? I need to do this, but need to sell my Catz 4300K kit first.

ah ha, now I see that the rear reflectors have a reddish chrome look to the back side of them... which makes me think BMW X5 projectors.

*edit* yes I am very sure now, looking at the X5 projectors that Tony the Tiger used for low beams on his Camry:
