this will be an entirely custom affair. i once saw one on ebay for $700. if you find one, please hit me up. i too would like an adapter plate, if for no other reason than to have more tranny options if i break it.

hit up Bserious on this board. He has a really nice piece he just made that sells as a complete bolt on kit with very little fab work needed. I saw the prototype and it looks very nice.

 

We currently have a mach up on this project. I cannot release any photos yet, but I just want to see if Honda-tech members are really interested in this product if it came with the proper motor mount kit as well? Let me know. E-mail me if you guys like at fvu@avidracing.com

We are working on a case that bolts straight up to an H22 .But uses a B16 trans.and ring and pinion.With a plate you have to rotate the motor so it won't interfere with the flat head bolts that hold the plate on.you also have to cut the whole corner off the back side of the block and pan rail.To clear the axle.with the case we are building you don't have to cut anything.We are making the bearing support for the half shaft,a new oil pan ,motor mounts and of course a custom header.The engine sits in the same spot and angle as a B 16 so there is no hood clearance problem.We have one done .Just putting the rest of the car together.We will keep you updated.
