I have that welder. Parts of my exhaust are welded with it, so is my battery tray, and power steering tray.

No problems, and my car gets abused more than anyone else's on here.

A real pro welder was using it once and said "Not a bad little box, a little tricky, but alright"

So, I say, good deal for $100

Harbor Freight Powered. Holla!

that p/n is $119... must have been on sale...

My buddy has the gas option Flux Welder that he got for $170 from HF... First one had to go back.. It fell apart... literally... The wire spool mount just like fell apart... It worked good though... So they sent him another one... This one works, but when you weld alot with it, it trips the overload protection.

Yup, the 79.99 is in my most recent catalog for Winter 05. Price should be honored for a while.

hahhaaha I didnt know you where in this forum Matt. that welder is only suited for misc brackets and the like that will never see any real structural abuse. if thats all you need it for then hell $80 is the deal of the century.

I weld to HF and bought this welder http://www.harborfreight.com/c...44567 and for being a beginner, with an artistic person , this welder is great , im sure the miller and linc are better, but im real happy with this welder, works great runs fine, just learn the wire feed setting, and heat you will do just fine, i just did my test pipe, and welder a shitty muffler on my back up car 87 corolla,

SO for all the beginners go buy one best $100 ive spent in awhile
